Vatsa has taken painstaking measures to protect all patient & physicians information. Our three levels of security meets and exceeds all HIPAA regulations related to Electronic Transmission of Patient Information. All medical data (dictation, transcription and search facility) is managed through our Workflow Management System called VatWebSolŽ.

VatWebSolŽ runs on a secure server, which encrypts all data communication between your computer, and our server. This means, any interception of data while it is being transferred from our server to your computer is not possible. To access any data from VatWebSolŽ, a valid user name and password is required. Our system allows you to change your password as often as you wish. We suggest that you change your password at least once every three months. VatWebSolŽ does not allow anyone to open any data file from our server directly. In order to open a data file, whether it is your dictation or transcription, it must be downloaded to your local computer. All the files kept on our system are zipped with a zip-password which you choose.

Also we are committed to safeguarding the security of all confidential information handled in the course of the transcription process. Associates involved in the transcription process are required to sign a Confidentiality Agreement affirming their commitment to protect the confidentiality of health information.
